The manager Humberto is an awesome person. Anything you need he is therefore and provides you with everything. He knows all the prices of the tours around celestun and gives you great advices. Also he offers at certain times an own tour which is really nice and simply the best offer. Horse riding is offered by Humberto himself. His english by the way is top notch. No communication problems at all! The compound has a own beach entry and is really quiet. The rooms are freshly renovated and therefore in perfect condition. You have to bring own towels; just as a reminder!

Room is good, has airco and a fan. Only downside is that we did not have towels. Nonetheless, it is right by the beach and price is very good. We came here because of the lonely planet. Try to book via WhatsApp it’s the easiest.

Beautiful location, they welcome RV as well, so we had the chance to spend some nights there, nice hospitality from the owner and his wife

Deventley the best budget accomodation in celestun. We camped there for 100 pesos a nigt. But there are several options from a room with bed and bathroom up to a equipped accomodation with kitchen and all that stuff. Humberto the owner is awesome frendly and helpfull. You can also rent a horse or he take you on his mototaxi to the flamingos.

Awesome place! Very quiet, directly at the beach. It feels like a private beach as there are only very few people. Try to get a sea view room, it is well worth the few extra pesos :-). We were allowed to take coconuts from the garden. In our appartement a fridge was available. Humberto is a lovely host, he borrowed us his machete for chopping the cocos and also a toaster so we could make ourselves yummy guacamole toasts and quesadillas on the lovely terrace. We also went on a flamingo tour with his moto taxi in the morning, which I would highly recommend as well. He also drives you into the village if you want (it is not far, around 1km, but still nice when you have heavy backpacks). There is also a free sea kayak and horse riding is possible at the beach. It is a budget accomodation though, so do not expect towels or daily room service. This was one of our best stays in Mexico, so quiet at day and night, away from noisy traffic and far away from cruiseship tourism and pushy hawkers. Perfect place to relax! Humberto was our host en la playa. He was Awesome! More than accommodating, Humberto was available for any needs and seems well known in the community. The property has 3 beautiful horses that unfortunately we will have to ride next time. The 3 days we stayed were action packed and the locals were very welcoming. Must visit....

I went here for horse riding as recommended by Lonely Planet, and was certainly not disappointed. Communication was a bit tricky at first via whatsapp but Humberto speaks great English in person. We went on an hour long horse ride along the beach and absolutely loved it, we made a day trip out of it driving in from Merida and went on a flamingo boat tour first, and then rode horses in the afternoon. Highly recommended.
